• Do not be alarmed. The black particles formed in your vaporiser are a natural occurrence due to the mineral deposits found in Singapore tap water. Given that the heating unit goes up to ~220C, any residual dust, or mineral residue in the heating unit will potentially burn and form the black particles as seen.
• This would also indicate that the unit requires a deep clean.
